DIY Home Solar Panel Energy Off-Grid, Grid-tie & Hybrid commented on this post about 3 years agoHello, I have got 200AH battery of 12v connected to my inverter.
My question is, how much time can I run a load of 1KW?
What is the formulae for calculating?Post is under moderationStream item published successfully. Item will now be visible on your stream.

In this case it should be around 83.3amps.
Now, REGARDLESS of the type of battery you are using, you will keep your battery from quick destruction when you only deplete upto 50%.
So in your case you only have 100AH left to use
Now depending on the room temperature (remember, Battery Standard Testing Condition STC is 25*C) and the (SOH) State of Health will determine how long or how many minutes your battery can hold charge enough to supply 83.3amps.
If your battery can hold good charge, then you should be looking at between 3 to 20mins for 1000watts AC load on a 12v 200AH battery bank system
